Admission is open to those candidates who have successfully completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized along with 1-year PGDCA/PGDIT/GNIIT or its equivalent.

You must have done a diploma in the respective engineering department. Then only you can get lateral entry. Otherwise, after completing your B.Sc in computer science or physics or chemistry or maths.

Admission in Indian Maritime University for B.Tech in Marine Engineering (Lateral Entry) is done through counseling based on the rank obtained in Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET). Candidate must have studied English with minimum 60% marks in 10/10+2.
