Yes, Parul University offers BTech (Lateral Entry) course for a duration of three years. In this course, candidates can get direct admission to the second year of the course. This course is offered across all the 24 specialisations offered for BTech at Parul University. The university selects candidates based on their merit scores in the last qualifying exam. Candidates who passed minimum three years Diploma examination with minimum 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category). In case the seats are filled for the Lateral Entry course at Parul University, they will be offered suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing etc., for students coming from diverse backgrounds.

B.Tech lateral entry is a 3 years programme for Diploma holders students who wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree after their diploma. Students taking B.Tech lateral entry can get direct admission in engineering second year after completing their diploma. Direct Admission in B.Tech lateral entry allows students to take admission via management quota seats.

In most colleges, the tuition fees for Second Year Direct Admission are generally lower, ranging from 30 thousand to 60 thousand INR per annum, for both Government and Private Colleges participating in counseling. However, top Deemed private Universities may charge higher tuition fees for B.Tech lateral entry admission due to limited seats. Typically, the total package, including tuition fees and miscellaneous charges, is around 2 to 3 Lacs INR.

Apart from the college fee, students opting for hostel accommodation would need to pay an additional fee, which varies from 50 thousand to 1 Lacs INR, depending on the college.
