You can definitely get lateral entry admission to the BTech Environmental Engineering course after completing a 3-year engineering Diploma in a relevant discipline and getting at least 50% marks in the final exams. There are a few colleges that provide lateral entry admissions, owing to which you can directly get admission to the 2nd year of BTech Environmental Engineering and complete the UG degree in 3 years instead of 4 years.
