Through the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE), candidates can secure admission to about 841 institutions/colleges affiliated with AKTU and other universities in Uttar Pradesh. First of all, let's about the admission criteria for lateral entry in B.Tech CSE:
Is B.Tech open to lateral entry? -Universities and engineering colleges offer a lateral entry programme that allows students who have completed a 3-year engineering Diploma, a B.Sc. Degree, or an equivalent exam with at least 50% of the marks and Mathematics as a required subject in Class XII to be admitted directly to the second year. Now the fees per year for the next three years is ;
for 1st year : 2,19,000
for 2nd year: 2,29,000
for 3rd year: 2,36,000
Total fees is INR 6,84,000.

IISc and IIIT are not doing lateral admission in B.Tech courses. The admission in IISc in B.Tech courses are based on JEE Advanced ranks, while JEE Main is for IIITs.
