Unfortunately, there's no provision of lateral entry for BA in Mass Communication course admission. You'll have to get admission in the very first year and complete all the 3 years of the program. Though you can get admission to Master's courses in the Mass Communication & Media programs.

Yes, Kanpur Institute of Technology also provides B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Lateral Entry) for Diploma students. Candidates need to possess a relevant Diploma in engineering with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates). Admission will be given based on JEECUP rank and according to the UPTAC counseling process. The course permits students to join the course directly in the second year and gives industry-oriented training.

Yes, MSRIT (MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology) in Bangalore provides lateral entry for Diploma students to the second year of BE via the KEA DCET (Diploma Common Entrance Test) administered by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
