Lateral entry

To get lateral entry admission to a BMLT programme after completing your DMLT, you need to apply to universities or colleges offering BMLT courses with a lateral entry option, where you can directly enter the second year of the programme by presenting your DMLT certificate and meeting the required minimum percentage score set by the institution; typically, you will need to apply during the admission process and may need to sit for an entrance exam depending on the college policy. 

Chandigarh Group of Colleges BTech lateral entry course seat intake is around 36 seats. 

Unfortunately, there's no provision for MDes Communication Design lateral entry in India. However, if you want to pursue a PG course in Communication Design, without investing in 2 years of education, you can go for PG Diploma courses in Communication Design. There are many colleges offering PG Diploma in Communication Design such as JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, AND Academy, AAFT, ISD, Apeejay Institute of Design, etc.
