There are some universities that provide the option of lateral entry to BTech Nuclear Engineering after you complete a 3-year Diploma in the field. Out of them, Sanskriti University comes across as one of the popular choices among students.
When we talk about lateral-entry, it means you can directly enter the second year of the BTech specialisation and finish the course in 3 years instead of 4 years. This special provision saves your time and allows you to engage in other things for skill enhancement.

You can always check the website of the college you want to take admission to and see if they offer lateral entry admissions.

Al Ameen does offers BTech (Lateral Entry) in engineering and computer science. As per the website minimum score of 45% on the Diploma test is required to be eligible (the cutoff for reserved categories is 40%). Additionally, a related field, such as computer science, should be chosen for the Diploma course.

You can definitely take lateral entry admission directly to the second year of BTech in Instrumentation Engineering at some popular colleges in India after completing a Diploma in Instrumentation Technology or Engineering, which spans 3 years. You should have decent marks of around 50 to 60% in your Diploma final exams and also clear the entrance test for admission that is usually required by a few universities.

Rest, you should always confirm the admission requirements for the course by reading the same on the official colleges' websites where you wish to pursue the course.
