IISc and IIIT are not doing lateral admission in B.Tech courses. The admission in IISc in B.Tech courses are based on JEE Advanced ranks, while JEE Main is for IIITs.

If you've done Diploma after completing class 12, then you're eligible to get admission in B.Com without any entrance exam.

Many colleges offer lateral entry after 1st year. Mumbai and Hyderabad are the best amongst all colleges which offers lateral entry. Some of the colleges offering B.Com lateral entry are given below.

Yes, lateral entry is possible in VIT. Only thing that you have to arrange is piles of money. These seats where they take admission on donations are many.

A lateral entry student is the one who directly enters into the second year of engineering. He/she must have completed a Diploma in the respective branch to be eligible for the lateral entry programme. After completing their Diploma, they write a special examination for enrollment in the institute.
