There are plenty of opportunities in the government sector for BTech LLB graduates:

  • You can work as Legal Advisor, or as the roles related to policy formation, more specificaly in areas like Cyber Law, IT Law, or IP Law.
  • Other ministries overseeing IT, Commerce, or even Defence have legal departments where your expertise can be of great value to matters related to procurement, contracts, and regulations.
  • There is scope in organisations like National Informatics Centre (NIC), and Computer Emergency Response Team.

Other areas are-

  • Cyber Crime Cells
  • Telecom Regulatory Authority of India
  • Intellectual Property Offices
  • Judicial Services

Yes, there is a great demand for BTech LLB graduates due to the emerging growth of technology. It trains an individual with the technical and legal aspects of law. Graduates from this field can easily analyse cases where there is requirement of thier technical knowledge and hence stands as a good asset to their clients. 

BTech LLB graduates can find suitable opportunities in Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Law, Data Protection and Privacy, and Information Technology Law

BA LLB placements at NIU are decent but not very high. The university provides placement support, and students get opportunities through campus drives. However, law placements can be challenging, and many students may need to seek internships or jobs on their own.

Noida International University (NIU) accepts CLAT, CUET, and its own NSAT exam for BA LLB admission. You can also get in through a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI) process.For BA LLB at NIU, you need at least 50% in 10+2. Entrance exam scores from CLAT, CUET, or NSAT are also considered.

Depending on the colleges, BTech LLB total fees can vary from INR 14 Lacs to INR 20 lakhs. As per being a six year course, fees per year can vary from INR 2.3 Lacs to INR 3.3 Lakh.

Yes, it is possible to pursue BTech LLB together. It is a six-year course where it combines engineeringing studies with Law. It is a good option for students who have interest in both the fields.
