Q:   Does School of Law, Christ University accept CSIR NET for Ph.D?
A: 

Yes, CSIR NET is accepted for Ph.D. candidates at Christ University's School of Law. The PhD entrance test is not required of candidates who have been selected for the UGC-CSIR NET, JRF, SLET, GATE, or M.Phil programs. They still have to take the skill exam, though. 

A minimum of 55% in the postgraduate programme is required to be eligible for a doctorate programme at Christ University. 
Christ University's PhD admissions procedure consists of the following steps: 

  • showing up for the admission exam for the PhD
  • Making an interview appearance
  • completing the skill evaluation

The PhD entrance test is not required of those who have been awarded a teaching fellowship, SLET, GATE, UGC CSIR NET, JRF, or UGC-NET.

Q:   What is the selection process for the BA LLB (Hons) programme at School of Law, Christ University?
A: 
The selection process at Christ University has multiple facets to select the candidates for the BA LLB (Hons) course. The aspirants must go through the Christ University Entrance Test that calculates the aptitude and reasoning ability of an applicant. Following the written test, a micro-presentation is taken wherein the candidates are supposed to talk on a given topic for 90 seconds. This is followed by a personal interview to assess the communication skills and overall suitability of candidates for the programme. The applicant should upload scanned copies of Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets while applying online.
