Student life in Lund is organised, not random. Nations, student unions, and academic groups run events throughout the year. The city is small, so most activity stays close to campus. That keeps academics and social life connected instead of separate.

Adjustment depends on participation. Lund has students from over 130 countries, so the environment is already international. Most students build routine through nations, classes, and group work rather than relying on orientation events.

Karolinska is considered the better place for Nursing studies in Sweden. It ranks #1 in the country for the program, whereas Lund Uni ranks #2, as part of the latest Shiksha Rankings.

Both Lund University and Karolinska Instituet Sweden are considered great choices for a Nursing program. Lund University uses a more community-based approach to its medical programs. Karolinska Sweden uses a more research-based approach.

Yes, Lund can be described as reasonably expensive, with the estimated monthly cost of living in Lund being around SEK 8,500-SEK 12,500 (INR 75.6 K-INR 1.11 L). The average cost of living in Sweden is around SEK 10,314 (INR 91.8 K) per month.

Though costly, it can be made affordable by applying for financial aids & part time work, soon after arrival in Sweden.
