Candidates applying to the Universitys PG courses should have cleared Graduation from a recognised University. Securing a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2+3 or equivalent examination is a mandatory criteria. However, for some PG courses the minimum percentage ranges between 50-60%. Reserved category candidates will get a relaxation of 5% marks.
Admission to all the courses offered at Amity University is granted through an English Essay test conducted by the University. Once the entrance test has been cleared, the candidate needs to clear an interview round/group discussion round (depending on course selection).

Admission to the course is done through two methods, direct and entrance test. Direct admission is offered for candidates who have completed B.A Honors degree in English from the University of Delhi. Such candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Reserved category candidates like OBC/SC/ST/PwD need to have 55% marks only.
Entrance test will be conducted for those candidates having completed B.A Honours in (English) from Delhi University with a minimum of 45% marks. Reserved category candidates with less mark can also seek admission on the basis of entrance exam. OBC candidates need to have at least 40.5% marks in the qualifying examination where as physically disabled ones needs to hold 40% marks only. In case of SC/ST candidates, mere pass in B.A Honours degree (in English) is enough to apply for the entrance test.
Qualified candidates from other recognized Universities other than Delhi University can also apply. In such situations general category candidates is required to have at least 50% marks in qualifying degree. Those belonging to OBC category should have a minimum of 45% marks. Here also SC/ST category candidates, require mere pass in the qualifying examination to appear for the entrance test.

Dear Anjali Prasad, surely the science students can apply for the course. Integrated M.A. in Development Studies at IITM is an experiential learning based program.
