Following specializations are available for MTec ECE in various IITs/ NIITs/ Universities : Microwave Engineering, Communication System Engineering, Microelectronics; Microelectronics, Optical Communication, Embedded system engineering, Biometrics and Cyber Security, and Nanotechnology; Optical communication, digital signal processing, wireless technologies etc. Jobs opportunities in Embedded Systems and Wireless technologies are good.

It is your choice which field you are interested in making your career. If you have done b.tech in e.c.e and also qualified the GATE then you should pursue M.Tech as it will have better options for you as compared to MBA. It depends on your choice whether you want to choose a career in Engineering or Management Field. I think you should choose the option in which you have a keen interest. If you are a tech savvy then you should choose M.Tech otherwise you can go for MBA also. Hi f you choose for MBA then you should try to clear the CAT and get into very good B- Schools. Both M.Tech and MBA have a good future. If you want to stick around technology then I would suggest do M.Tech.
MBA will help you to get a managerial post which can be benefited from monitory front.

Both degrees are same. Different nomenclature is used by different universities to award postgraduate degree in engineering/ technology. Some of the foreign universities award MSc/ MS degree to postgraduates in engineering/ technology

Both the institutes mentioned by you are equally good and thus it will be very difficult to tell which one will be the best option.
However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute. You can consider the below parameters
1) Faculty,
2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute.

Yes it will help you to save your 6 month in your education tenure.But remember one thing this course having speed in course structure bcz in short period of time you have to study and pass all the subjects.
