Hi Halani,
If you are facing financial issues, you can opt for M.Tech through distance learning or you can go for the job and opt for M.Tech after 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
All the best.

It doesn't matter because there is no difference between M.E. and M.Tech. Both have equal reputation. A university will just adopt it. Like in India, we use BE or B.Tech. In USA, it is BS. ME and M.Tech are equivalent to MS.

Yes, as you are interested in teaching, you can teach management guys and engineering guys as well if you study MBA. If you are interested in IT jobs, M.Tech is a good option.

The reason is that it takes less time. Student can get into a job and solve his money problem. For a PhD, time element is to be considered.

To go to USA, you have to crack TOEFL exam which is taken by the American universities to make post-graduation in USA and there is no M.Tech, it is called MS (Master of Science).

In India, MS is not as good and M.Tech/MBA depends on your interest. You can go for M.Tech, if you want to remain in technical field otherwise you can go for MBA, if you want to be in management.

Dear Ruby,
You can take admission in state technical university affiliated colleges, for this purpose you need to appear for an entrance exam conducted every year by respective university/colleges etc.
I hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.
Wish you luck.

MS in Germany will give you an International university exposure which will help you to build international career. I am of the opinion that if you are targeting international career, you may prefer MS in Germany over MTech at IIT.
