No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admissions to the M.Tech course at Kerala Agricultural University. To get admission into the M.Tech course at KAU, candidates must complete their BTech/ BE in Agricultural/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Energy & Environmental Engineering with an aggregate of 60%. Additionally, for the selection process, the university considers the relevant scores of ICAR AIEEA, and there are chances that the university might consider the university's in-house entrance exam.

On the official website of the university, it is not mentioned anywhere that KAU only accepts ICAR AIEEA PG scores for admission to the M.Tech course. There are chances that the university might consider the scores of the university's in-house entrance exams for admission to the M.Tech course. Moreover, before appearing for the entrance exam, candidates must ensure that they complete the basic eligibility requirements of the course.

ANGRAU and KAU both offer M.Tech courses in agriculture and Allied Science specialsiations. Moreover, Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University offers five specialisations in the M.Tech course and KAU offers four specialsiations in the M.Tech course. Therefore, ANGRAU offers more specialsiations.
