College infrastructure and fee structure are the best compared to other colleges.

Placements: I am in my first year, but I talked to my seniors and they told me that around 80-85% of students got placed last year with good packages. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. I am also very excited to get placed and get my name framed on the wall of placed candidates.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Lovely Professional University is top-class. The most fascinating part is the library and the LPU wireless system. The whole campus contains free Wi-Fi. The library contains a whole block of five floors. Each class has a projector. Our college has its own hospital.

Faculty: Teachers are good. Most of them are M.Tech and Ph.D. holders. Except for some subjects, most are good and experienced. Faculty members and the curriculum are good. Just requires a few minute changes. Semester exams are most subjective and practical-based.

Lovely Professional University - review.

Placements: Data Analyst is the top job offered for my course. The highest package is 15 Lacs per annum, and the minimum package is 3 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: All facilities are good. There are all shops available. There are about 500 shops, and so you don't need to go outside to buy anything.

Faculty: Faculties are moderate. Exams are easy, if you study a week earlier.

Other: Just a little bit crowded, from my point of view. Otherwise its structure is beautiful.

Good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good. The percentage of students placed who opted for placement is more than 90% in continuation. Most of the students are placed in IT sector. There are very few companies for the core branches, mostly are IT, HR, sales and marketing jobs. Package offered is very good, keeping in mind the current scenario.

Infrastructure: Course infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is freely available throughout the campus. They have good labs. You can visit the central instrumentation facility. Some of the world class lab equipments like FESEM are present in the college. Hostel is good and mess food is bearable or else you have many options for eating outside the mess. The campus has its own hospital with ambulance facility and its own pathology lab.

Faculty: Faculty are helpful and very cooperative. The exams are not too hard. It is easy to maintain a pretty decent CGPA throughout the course. The environment is competitive and most important part of the course is that it is research oriented from the very first semester. Students are encouraged to do creative writing and publish a paper.

Under Engineering, LPU offers a full-time MTech programme in 17 specialisations at the PG level. The duration of MTech programme is two years, spread across four semesters. Candidates seeking admission to this programme must have a relevant BE/ BTech degree or equivalent. Also, the final selection of students is based on a valid score in LPU NEST/ GATE scores. Q: Will I get a direct admission in LPU with 65 % marks in Class 12?

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

Q: Is CUET required to get admission in LPU?

No, CUET marks is not a compulsory requirement for getting admission in MSc programme of LPU. However, the university accepts valid scores of CUET as well as it's own in-house entrance exam called LPUNEST for giving admission in MSc at LPU.

Q: Is qualifying for LPUNEST mandatory later if a student takes admission without it?

For courses like BCA, LPUNEST is not required. If a student gets admission at LPU in this course, they will not have to qualify LPUNEST later. Although for most of the courses, LPUNEST is accepted by the university. Hence, securing good marks in LPUNEST is important for a successful admission.

LPU MTech Admission 2026: How to Apply?

LPU MTech admission to all the above-mentioned specialisations is done through an online mode. Candidates, fulfilling the eligibility criteria need to apply online through the admission portal of the University. The common LPU application process is shown below:

Step 1: Signup

Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile number, state, gender and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registration.
Login to the LPUADMIT with an already created username/ password

Step 2: Application for admission

Candidates can continue to take admission and then apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes):

Fill in the application form
Select the programme from the available course list
Make an initial payment of INR 10,000 (which consists of an application fee of INR 500, rest is part of the programme fee for the first semester). After making the payment, the University will dispatch the prospectus at the correspondence address (entered in the application form) and a unique provisional registration no. will be generated and sent to the registered email-id.
Upload the required documents. All the submitted documents are verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines during admission.
Deposit the balance fee within the timelines as prescribed by LPU

Step 3: Apply for LPUNEST

Lovely Professional University conducts an online eligibility/scholarship test, LPU NEST basis which students can avail a number of scholarships.

Deposit the test fee: The cost for the application form and soft copy of the LPU NEST Kit is INR 800 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls) and fill the application form of LPUNEST.

Step 4: Book the exam slot and appear for it

Candidates are now required to book a slot (with their preference of date and time) to appear for LPUNEST
Appear and qualify the test

I am happy that I am a LPU student and really like to refer this college to others also.

Placements: Placement in lovely professional University is very high 75+% the lowest package is 3/4 Lacs and the highest package is 10+ Lacs. As I am not visited University yet so I am not much aware of the company. Food technologist, food quality officer are the roles offered. The internship will depend on our time.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the university are very furnished, the lab Library, hostel facility are amazing. The faculty are very supportive and helpful. The location and beauty of the campus are marvelous. I appreciate the way manage things accordingly.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and polite towards the students. The faculty provide all the relative material regarding the course and explain everything very well. They will arrange guest lecturers and workshops for the students in different domains which provides the best knowledge.

LPU has every facility you can expect in a college.

Placements: Placement services are good here. You can expect that two or three companies will visit here in a week, which is a very great opportunity for students to showcase their skills. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA, and the highest salary package you can expect is around 16 LPA. Companies conduct different rounds of interviews, and then offer letters are sent to selected students.

Infrastructure: Everything is just perfect here. In libraries, every facility is available. Some floors have sitting areas where you can sit and learn, and there are also computers to test code and write reports. The hostel facility is great, along with the food.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very supportive here. You can approach them not only for academic queries but also for non-academic queries. Every student is being allocated a mentor who discusses what sort of problems are facing by students and tries to solve them as soon as possible.

Great infrastructure with good exposure.

Placements: Placements are okay for this course in LPU. If you are interested to teach after M.Tech, the college gives a good opportunity for teaching in the campus itself.

Infrastructure: We can say LPU is having one of the topmost infrastructures in India and very unique too. The weather and climate are easing and culture inside college is very friendly and you will get chance to meet 100's of other state people. Hostel is okay and I heard mess is pathetic.

Faculty: The curriculum is designed well, and very helpful too. Education is collaborated with various project which will give exposure to outside world and real life experiences. The quality of education is fine and you need to work on yourself to get good knowledge. The library is always available.

Other: One india, youth vibe, one world, cokestudio are the college events and very fascinating.

LPU is my dream University where I want complete my higher education.

Placements: From my point of view, placement for civil engineering is good, and not only placement various career opportunities are provided. Various companies of civil engineering are visiting University continuously from past few days. Placement package are also awesome. 80 percentage chances for students to get placed. LPU provided extra education for students to get prepared for companies.

Infrastructure: LPU infrastructure is outstanding. Even I have no words to explain. Large playground, good Wi-Fi, better food facilities. The labs are well as almost every equipment are available in lab. Larger no. Of labs of different fields are easy available and almost all test related civil engineering can be easy conducted in these labs. Sports facilities are too good and large no. Of sports activities are provided for students. Road are good inside the campus.

Our college is a world-class university providing world-class facilities.

Placements: The placements in our college are awesome. The companies having worldwide recognition visit our college for placements. Mass recruitments are done with good packages. A lot of opportunities are provided to get placed as a lot of companies visit our college on a daily basis during the placement week.

Infrastructure: Our college has the world-class infrastructure. From the entrance to the exit, the whole campus is awesome. The buildings are very well-constructed. Stairs, lifts, escalators, etc., are available. The college has well-equipped labs with proper research facilities. The infrastructure of this university is friendly even with the physically disabled candidates.

Faculty: The college has well-qualified faculty members. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders. The course curriculum is industry as well as research oriented. It is well-designed, and it meets the industry requirements.

Other: The university hosts two major festivals, one is One World which represents the culture of the whole world, and another one is One India which represents the culture of entire India. Apart from this, the university hosts a lot of extracurricular activities.
