You should choose the field of your interest for internship. Take permission from your college then apply. You should do the internship of minimum 1 month and maximum permitted by your college. According to me, production or designing (CAD/CAM) is best choice. Do at least 2-3 internships. These will be very useful in further subjects as well as placements.
