Firstly ascertain your priorities, Do you want to do BCA for Knowledge or just for Money or just to save Money for your future degree. Let me answer considering Knowledge as an aspect: B.Tech being a 4 year course has better chances of imparting you indepth knowledge of Computer Science (am assuming you will go for CS/IT if you do B.Tech). But then a lot depends on the college you join. As I already said better chances but no guarantee. 3 cousins of mine used my Final year project to pass their B.Tech (I think I forgot to tell I am a BCA). So the assumption that B.Tech will give you better understanding of subject is a notorious one. Moving on to Money you would make or Money you would spend: I spent almost 1.1 Lacs (including the cost of computer I bought, I assume you already have one) in completing my BCA from a non funded seat of government college, which is a big saving compared to expenses you will meet while doing B.Tech from private engineering college. Now how much would you make, So let me tell you my story, I joined Infosys after completing my BCA at a package of 2.25 Lacs in January 2011 (hired as on Operations Executive), was elevated to 3.50 Lacs (promoted to System engineer) in month of October 2013 and I am currently earning 4.20 Lacs (Senior System engineer). B.Tech fresher were being hired at some where between 3.20 - 3.50 in 2011 (I don't know current package being offered to them) and in the same time if they haven't left the organisation yet are earning somewhere around 4.50 - 5 Lacs. So basically it took me almost 2 Years to match the package at what B.Tech were hired, and this difference will always remain until and unless of course I leave the organisation and join somewhere else at better package, but that applies to B.Tech as well which is entirely a different story. I would also like to tell you not only are we paid lesser in Infosys but are also treated as lesser employees. In projects where client do not have specific requirements for 12+4 year educated employees, BCA are put in such projects to do menial jobs which B.Tech smart asses won't do, like updating excels or doing monitoring or regulating mails or more menial things like taking calls. Almost all BCA pupil end up spending at least 2 and at max inly God knows how many years for studying only 1 year less than B.Tech.

ITM Navi Mumbai provides you 2years full time AICTE approved PGDM and if you talk about the placements, then it has been offered nice for the session 2016-18. The average package has been offered was 6.5 lacs per annum. With the highest being 14 lacs per annum at Amazon. The college has big names associated with it such as HDFC, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Motors, SBI, etc. Even internships and placements have been offered very well. Few companies are providing stipend up to Rs. 20,000 per month. Overall ITM is very good for the placements.
The faculties here are very good with some having the experience of more than 15-20 years with the good amount of knowledge. The course curriculum is quite good with the subjects which are helpful not only for the mental knowledge but also for the practical exposure in the competitive market.
There are many events that take place in the college on a regular basis such as Technical Connect, Maverick, Macrinno, Fun Fiesta and Kurukshetra which include fun activities to relax the students from the excessive burden.
ITM Navi Mumbai is located in Kharghar. It offers 2-year full-time management degree. Various scholarships are offered for meritorious students. The fees of Course is somewhere between 10-11 Lakhs.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are experienced industry candidates. The pedagogy of teaching is different and easily understandable. Every semester included with subjects depending on level wise. The case study teaching, brainstorming and various activities including easily approachable faculty members.
Infrastructure: Every classroom is enabled with Wi-Fi and AC facility. A good library with the updated collection of books, table tennis and indoor games can be played in the college. The canteen is provided with different specials of food and hygiene
Placements: The placements offered are pretty good. The average package offered is Rs. 6.5 to 7 lacs per annum varies for different specialisations, and a lot of companies Aditya Birla, Kalpa Taru, Amazon, Capgemini, Sutherland and many companies visit for the placements. The college will provide 5-month internship assistance. The average stipend offered is Rs. 10000.
