Usually the admission process starts in the month of March/April where the colleges announce the notification and application forms both online and offline.
Few universities take admission in M.Sc. Courses through merit basis as well as through entrance test, like Delhi University reserves 50% of its seats for merit basis admissions.Entrance Exam:
A few Colleges conduct entrance test for taking admissions into the course. Students selected through entrance test would further have to go through a personal interview before final selection. The entrance test consists of objective type questions and the syllabus for the same is usually from:

There are a few institutes where you can take admission directly on the basis of marks in graduation.

Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, Jpmorgan, Morgan stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Fractal Analytics, Relinace Industry, Tata Consultancy, Lodha Developers, Runwal group, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Forge, etc. Recruit the students. The highest package goes as high as 22 LPA by MU Sigma over three years bond. Some international firms also visit here every year. Internship through college is decent. Students who have a good GPA are mostly selected for PPOs and also the internship. Infrastructure and Faculty are simply great and college is accredited globally.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate seeking admission to the Ph.D. Programme under School of Engineering and Technology (SOET) of NCU must have obtained:
1- M.Sc. / M.A. (Maths) degree with min. 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent, with NET/GATE/JRF qualified or M.Sc. / M.A. (Maths) with min. 67.5% marks in aggregate or equivalent
2- The minimum eligibility criteria indicated above for each Programme is only an enabling clause. The concerned Doctoral Research Committee (DRC) may fix higher criteria at the time of short-listing keeping in view the number of candidates, minimum background expected to cope with the Programme etc. Candidates in the final year of their Masters Programme, who expect to complete all their qualifying degree requirements before the date of registration for the first semester of their Ph.D. Programme at NCU can apply for admissions.
