As per the eligibility criteria of M.Sc Applied Mathematics at University of Calcutta. The candidate should have passed with at least 55% marks in B.Sc (Hons.) in Mathematics or its equivalent. Hence, B.Tech CSE students are not eligible for this program.

Yes, you can pursue M.Sc maths after B.Tech, but you should check the college guidelines also once just to be sure.
