Azim Premji University NET 2025 Exam: Dates, Fees, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

The Azim Premji University National Entrance Test is an entrance exam for admission to the university's graduate programmes (MA, LLM, MPH), as well as its undergraduate programmes (BA, BSc, and BSc BEd). Azim Premji University National Entrance Test is abbreviated as APUNET 2025 too. Additionally, it is a university-level exam administered by Azim Premji University, APU Bangalore. The Azim Premji University opens admission to undergraduate courses in two admission cycles. The APUNET 2025 will be held for Round 1 in December and for Round 2 in April.

Step 1: Fill the Application Form

• Candidates need to apply to Azim Premji University by filling up the application form for the NET exam. They can either fill out the online application form available on the official website of the university or the offline application form by downloading the application form from the website and filling it up and submitting to the official address of the university. 
• They also need to pay the application fee and for online mode, candidates can use the PayU e-payment gateway. For offline mode, they can make the fee payment using a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of "Azim Premji Foundation for Development" and to be submitted along with the application form. 
• The application form fee for all courses and categories is INR 500. 

Step 2: Get the Admit Card

Candidates will get their admit card soon after they submit the application form. The admit card for Azim Premji NET mentions the details about the test-taking candidates, details of exam appearing for, date and timings as well as the allotted test center name and location. 

Step 3: Appear for Azim Premji University National Entrance Test (NET)

Next, candidates must only appear for the entrance test at the allotted exam center. The candidates should carry the admit card along with one valid Photo ID proof. 

Step 4: Check the  Result

The university will declare the entrance test result by sending emails to the candidates on their registered email IDs. The result/ scorecard will mention the qualifying status of the candidates, scores obtained as well as the schedule for interview and details for admission rounds.

Step 5: Appear for Personal Interview Round

• All candidates shortlisted in the NET exam are called for Personal Interview (PI) round. In PI round candidates have to appear in front of a student assessment panel.
• The panel assesses students on various grounds such as their commitment to social change, readiness to learn, develop perspectives etc.
• Thereafter, candidates who have applied for financial assistance also need to give an interview with a financial assistance panel of the university.
• The panel mainly assesses candidates’ financial assistance needs.

Step 6: Check Final Result

Finally, candidates shortlisted in PI round are eligible to secure admission at Azim Premji University. It may be noted that the final result of PI round is emailed to candidates on their registered email IDs.
