Azim Premji University National Entrance Test NET 2023 Exam: Dates, Fees, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

Azim Premji University NET 2023 has been conducted on March 12, 2023 for 2nd cycle of admission. Now, the Azim Premji University will conduct Personal Interviews in April 2023, and the admission process will be held in May or June 2023. Only, candidates qualifying Azim Premji NET 2023 and Personal Interviews will be sent admission offers for seat allotment. With round 2 admission cycle, the admissons for LLM and other postgraduate courses will be over for the current academic year. The session for enrolled candidates will begin from July 15 onwards.

What is Azim Premji University National Entrance Test?

Azim Premji University National Entrance Test is conducted by the university for admissions to undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses. The entrance exam is held in online as well as offline modes. Moreover, the Azim Premji University opens admission to undergraduate courses in two admission cycles i.e. Early Admissions in September - December and Regular Admissions in January - May.

Azim Premji NET Admission Process 2023

Step 1: Fill the Application Form

• Candidates need to apply to Azim Premji University by filling up the application form of the NET exam. They can either fill the online application form available on the official website of the university or the offline application form by downloading the application form from the website and filling it up and submitting on the official address of the university. 
• They also need to pay the application fee and for online mode, candidates can use PayU e-payment gateway. For offline mode, they can make the fee payment using a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of "Azim Premji Foundation for Development" and to be submitted along with the application form. 
• The application form fee for all courses and categories is Rs 500. 

Step 2: Get the Admit Card

Candidates will get their admit card soon after they submit the application form. The admit card for Azim Premji NET 2022 mentions the details about the test-taking candidates, details of exam appearing for, date and timings as well as the allotted test centre name and location. 

Step 3: Appear for Azim Premji University National Entrance Test (NET)

Next, candidates have to appear for the entrance test at the allotted exam centre only. The candidates should carry the admit card along with one valid Photo ID proof. 

Step 4: Check the  Result

The university will declare the entrance test result by sending emails to the candidates on their registered email IDs. The result/ scorecard will mention the qualifying status of the candidates, scores obtained as well as the schedule for interview and details for admission rounds.

Step 5: Appear for Personal Interview Round

• All candidates shortlisted in the NET exam are called for Personal Interview (PI) round. In PI round candidates have to appear in front of a student assessment panel.
• The panel assesses students on various grounds such as their commitment to social change, readiness to learn, develop perspectives etc.
• Thereafter, candidates who have applied for financial assistance also need to give an interview with a financial assistance panel of the university.
• The panel mainly assesses candidates’ financial assistance needs.

Step 6: Check Final Result

Finally, candidates shortlisted in PI round are eligible to secure admission at Azim Premji University. It may be noted that the final result of PI round is emailed to candidates on their registered email IDs.
