It varies from university to university. Try to check from Lovely Professional University and Sharda University as math is not a mandatory subject.

It completely depends upon which stream you want to choose. Like if you want to take B.Com and you have taken up commerce in class 11th, then it is not compulsory to have Maths. However if you belong to the other stream and want to take B.Com then Maths is compulsory for this college.

If you have taken up commerce as your stream in class 11 and you have taken best instead of maths then you can take admission in St. Xaviers if you get the eligible marks. If you belong to the Humanities stream then Maths is compulsory.
