You have scored pretty well in CEE. As far as I know you need a decent percentage in PCM, I guess around 54-60% if you are from general category. If you do have that you have a chance I suppose. You may check the information brochure given in the official website for the director of technical education of Assam or wait around for the counselling. But I would suggest you to keep options in other colleges.

Arihant Skills in Mathematics (Algebra) is a good book for preparation of JEE and you should be prepared by this book.

To get admission in NIT our IIT it is mandatory to appear in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced and if you haven't appeared this year for JEE Mains then please appear in next year and try to score good marks.

To get admission in this college it is mandatory for everyone to have maths in both 10th and 10+2. Without maths one can't get admission in this college.

Percentage of people getting placed vary every year. A good number of people are placed on campus from the college. Although there is a scope of improvement. Salary packages vary from 3 lac to 8 lac per annum. Overall college is amazing in terms of location, hangout points, faculty, infrastructure, etc.
