You can do that but many colleges take maths as a compulsory subject for B.Sc CS. Check the requirements of the college you wish to go in.

If you are good in classical physics, mechanics, Thermodynamics, fluid mechanics etc. , then, you should choose mechanical branch. If you are good in modern physics & electro state & magnetic field, you should choose electrical & electronics. If you have very good in maths, you can opt for computer Science engineering /information technology. If you are interested in B.Sc. , you can choose B.Sc. (Hons. ). In maths/physics /electronics/IT according to your preference.

Hi Suman, Both courses are good, It is depend upon your interest. Here's the information of both degrees:

Do you belong from commerce stream? If yes, then, I am sorry. You can't go for software engineering. You need to opt for Science fields after your 10th. Thank you.

You should go for B.Tech which will help you to be an IAS officer because there is 5% quota for B.Tech students in IAS. So, you should opt for B.Tech. All the best.
