MBA Eligibility

The selection criteria for the EMBA course offered at IIT Bombay are based on these eligibility parameters: 

• Candidates should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university in India or any other country.
• They should have a minimum of seven (7) years' work experience.
• Additionally, five (5) years of managerial experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Functional computer skills

Conclusively, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for an interview with the admission committee, which will include a panel of experts from IIT Bombay & WUStL. The schedule of dates and times for such interviews will be communicated

by the EMBA Program Office by email depending on the availability of the panel.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at the institution is a full-time endeavor, designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive learning experience. This programme offers versatility through four distinct specializations, allowing students to tailor their academic journey to align with their career aspirations and interests.

To be eligible for admission, prospective candidates must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% marks, ensuring a foundational academic background. This eligibility criterion emphasizes the importance of a solid educational foundation as a prerequisite for pursuing advanced studies in business administration. 

The selection process for the MBA programme involves a multi-faceted approach, providing flexibility for candidates. Applicants can showcase their aptitude through various recognised entrance examinations, including AP-ICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test), as well as national-level exams such as CAT (Common Admission Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test) and XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test). This diverse range of accepted entrance exams widens the pool of eligible candidates and allows individuals with different testing preferences to apply. 

The MBA programme not only offers a holistic education in business administration but also emphasizes inclusivity in its admission criteria, welcoming candidates from diverse educational backgrounds and providing flexibility in the selection process through multiple recognised entrance exams.

4. English Language Proficiency: In order to be admitted, candidates must meet this prerequisite.
