The candidate must be of Indian origin.
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Association of Indian Universities, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in the case of candidates from backward classes and persons with disabilities from Maharashtra State only).
