You are advised to start your self preparation now and then opt for one year duration coaching for CAT 2018 starting in Nov Dec 17. This will give you sufficient CAT preparation time without impacting your B.Sc studies.

It looks a little difficult. Which colleges are you targeting? If you are trying for premium institutions, then you need to spend more time on improving your English and maths.

Most students apply in Chetana's Ramprasad Khandelwal Institute of Management & Research using their CET or MAT scores. I am not sure about the acceptability of ATMA scores. You can get in touch with the college office on the following number: 022 26513346.
All the best to you.

Apply for Acharya B-School, Bangalore, and Alliance University, Bangalore. These are good colleges in Bangalore. Also, School of management is a good option, but the admission will depends on number of students apply for it and their marks of management score. But, don't miss this year's admission, apply for these colleges, there are chances you might get interview call.

Hello Rushabh, Apologies for the late reply. Getting a good college with that score in CET is impossible, as the cutoffs of top 6 colleges is always above 97 percentile. So better reappear for CET rather than taking admission into some below-average college and waste both your precious time and money. P.S. Various top B-schools need at least 50% marks in graduation so no chance of getting admission there.

Personally speaking, not much time is left for CAT 2017, and if anyone has started just now, he/she needs to show utter seriousness and determined effort in their preparation of CAT 17.
Strategy, I follow is a 3 hours a subject a day which sums it up to 9 hours in total. Plan it out. If not 9 hours, go for 6 hours giving 2 hours to each of the Verbal studies, Quantitative studies and LRDI. It is even more important for an aspirant to be regular with their studies to get a good percentile.
Other strategy that you can follow is to go for a subject a day instead of doing all the subjects on a single day. This will avoid any unwanted press

1. Practice a variety of questions (in terms of difficulty level) on a regular basis.
2. Solve and analyse each mock seriously.
3. Clear all doubts & work on the important shortcuts/tips.
4. Solve last year's papers too for a better understanding of the type of questions asked.
5. Make a note of your weaknesses and work hard on them.
6. Keep faith in yourself and never panic during the actual exams.
Joining a coaching class will also help in getting the right guidance.
