The cut- off of XAT varies from year to year depending on a number of factors like the number of participants, difficulty level of the exam and the number of seats available at the time of admissions in the college. The previous trends of XAT shows an increasing percentage of marks consecutively. Students who fulfill basic eligibility requirements and have appeared for or are planning to appear for the entrance tests (MH- CET/ CMAT/ CAT/ XAT) are eligible to apply for MBA at SIMMC (Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication), Pune. There are 180 seats on which admissions are done based on the previous qualifying exam score, entrance test score as well as the performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. The minimum percentage required by a candidate in XAT depends on the current year’s students’ performance.
