Composite scores represent small sets of data points that are highly related to one another, both conceptually and statistically and percentile means you have scored better than 93% percent students who participated in the exam. The minimum eligibility criteria for any MBA course at JBIMS - the student must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised institute.
The college accepts entrance exams such as CAT and MAT .The admission to MBA in finance at JBIMS is based on the score obtained in one of the accepted entrance exams.

The eligibility criteria to get admission in MBA at PDM University includes Bachelor’s or Post-graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognised University or an examination recognised as equivalent.
Apart from this, aspirants have to score qualifying marks in National level entrance examination. Candidates with a good score in CAT, MAT or XAT are given priority for admission to MBA.

The two most important National level entrance exams that are conducted for MBA course are CAT and CMAT. CAT is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, whereas, CMAT is conducted by the National Testing Agency.
CAT exam is specifically for taking admission into IIM whereas CMAT exam is considered in any other private or autonomous University. CAT exam is comparatively more difficult than CMAT. The minimum cut off in order to clear CAT exam is 90 to 95 percentile. For CMAT exam also the minimum percentile is 80 to 90 percentile, but for some private universities it can be as low as 25 to 30 percentile.

MBA is a 2 year post graduation course. The two main entrance exam that aspirants have to give are CAT and CMAT. CAT exam is usually given to get into top MBA institute IIMs, since they only consider CAT examination as the qualifying exam. Whereas all the other private universities consider CMAT exam as qualifying criteria. In order to get into IIM one has to score a minimum of 90 to 99% whereas for other private Universities the cutoff maybe as low as 25%.
