The Eligibility criteria for MBBS at Medical college of Kolkata is pretty much similar to other goverment medical colleges. The MBBS course seats are allotted on the basis of NEET-UG score and rank. Therefore, the candidates will have to apply for the NEET-UG examination conducted by the NTA for the admissions for MBBS. After the NEET-UG results, the cutoff is released by the MCC or the Medical counselling committee based on various factors. The Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences' requirements for MBBS eligibility.The candidate must have received at least a 50% in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology on the 10+2 exam or any other exam that is comparable. Candidates for the SC, ST, and OB categories must receive 40% in each of the subjects from their 10+2 exams or any other exams that are comparable, and students with physical disabilities in the general category must receive at least 45% in the aforementioned subjects.Since 85% of the seats are filled by UP MBBS admissions, the candidate must be an Uttar Pradesh resident or have qualified for the state's 10+2 exams.The applicant needs to have registered for the counselling sessions and taken the NEET entrance exam.
