MD Eligibility

Foreign doctors can join the MD course at PGIMER Chandigarh by routing their applications through the Ministry of Health. You must have a strong command of the English language to survive the intense curriculum. International peers sit for the same entry test as local applicants. A separate merit list handles their final seat distribution.

The common eligibility is a BDS degree from any Dental council of India recognised college/university along with Completion of one year internship. The minimum eligibility for MDS AT Maulana Azad Medical College is having a BDS degree with 55% aggregate marks from a recognised university. The selection criteria for the same is merit based with the college accepting NEET PG/MDS scores.

The applicant for admission to MDS at Army college of Dental Sciences must have a BDS degree from a central or state recognised university, to be eligible for the same. The candidate must also have permanent registration with any State Dental Council. In addition period of one year experience/internship must have been completed. The internship completion certificate must be submitted at the time of application for admission.

The Doctor of Medicine programme is a popular program, which lasts for 66 months it also requires English language proficiency via tests like IELTS and TOEFL.

Below are the admission eligibility requirements for the RGUST Doctor of Medicine Program:

• BSc or an Associate degree in any Science-related stream from an accredited institution
• 50% minimum marks required in graduation

Candidates who have passed BDS examination from Dental College/ institution approved/ recognised by the Dental Council of India are eligible to apply for MDS at Manav Rachna Dental College. Aspirants must also have completed one-year compulsory rotating internship by the specified date from college recognised by the Dental Council of India for this purpose.
