The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) releases the official schedule at - niftadmissions. The schedule includes the event-wise dates related to the NIFT 2025 entrance exam. This includes the release of the NIFT 2025 application form, the application last date (with regular and late fees), written exam date, declaration of results, etc. Alternatively, the candidate can follow this page to stay updated about NIFT 2025 exam.

Students are required to pay the application fee to submit the form and complete the application process of NIFT Kannur. It is non-refundable. NIFT is a national-level design entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). The exam is conducted once every year and it consist of two parts, i.e, first one is, written exam and second is, situation test/personal interview.

• Written Exams - It comprise the GAT and CAT. The GAT paper is mandatory for all programs, while only BDes and MDes candidates need to take the CAT. 
• Situation Test/ Personal Interview - BDes candidates who get shortlisted have to appear in the Situation Test, whereas PG candidates need to appear in a Personal Interview. The only exception is BFTech program, where the admission merit list will be prepared solely based on GAT scores.    

The FINAL score of NIFT 2024 for the other programs will be prepared by giving weightage to the written exams and Situation Test/ Personal Interview.

The scores or merit rank of NIFT will be considered for admission to design courses offered by the NIFT participating institutes. Currently, there are 18 participating institutes that offer the following courses - BDes, MDes, BFTech, MFTech, and MFM courses.

The application process for NIFT 2024 will be conducted online. After completing the application process, inclduing payment of fees, the candidate must download a printout of the application form.

In fact, the NIFT prospectus prescribes the candidate to “apply on time and keep a printout / photocopy of application form for further reference along with proof of payment.”

The NIFT 2024 application form is for admission to the B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses. There are 18 participating NIFTs that currently have a combined intake of 5.215 seats.

NIFT Kannur is a government institute. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs and addmission into these courses is based on marks scored in NIFT Entrance Exam. To check your merit list at National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur you can follow the following steps-:

National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur is a government institute. It has a great infrastructure and is equipped with great facilities, well-equipped design studios, a well-stocked library, computer labs, and specialised workshops for hands-on learning. It has been ranked 16 for Fashion Design by Outlook in 2019 and holds a good placement record as well. 

While on the other hand National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai is one of the renowned campuses in India.It is ranked four by India Today 2021 for Fashion Design. It also has a good placement record where in 90% students were placed in various domestic and international industries with good compensation package. Even NIFT Chennai is equipped with state of the art faculties, well designed infrastructure etc. 

Thus, which institute is good totally depends on one's personal choice and preference.
