No, typically you cannot get into Pune District Education Association's College of Engineering (PDEA) for a B.E./B.Tech course without a valid MHT CET or JEE Main score. While JEE Main is also a valid entrance exam, MHT CET is specifically mentioned as an accepted exam for this college.

Students can gain admission to Vidya Prasarini Sabha's College of Engineering and Technology (VPSCET) for B.E./B.Tech programs through other admission methods instead of MHT CET. Students can enter VPSCET through JEE Main results instead of MHT CET scores since the institute accepts JEE Main test scores.

For students from other states, taking the MHT CET is not mandatory, but it can be beneficial if you wish to apply for courses in Maharashtra-based colleges. Many institutions in Maharashtra accept MHT CET scores for admission, even for non-resident students. However, out-of-state students can also apply through other means, like JEE Main for engineering courses.

It's important to check the eligibility criteria of the specific college or course you're interested in, as some may offer direct admissions based on national exam scores.
