Yes, you can get admission to the CSE programme on the basis of the 12th HSC board exam. Many private universities offer direct admission to CSE based on your 12th HSC board marks without requiring JEE or MHT CET. The universities like MIT-WPU (Pune), Amity University, Sharda University, Lovely Professional University (LPU), Manipal University and Symbiosis Institute of Technology provide admission.

Most students in Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) and various other sites need to pass entrance tests JEE Main or MHT CET to gain entrance into B.Tech programs. Several private colleges enable direct admission depending on student merit levels or college management-approved slots. Private colleges in certain cases will admit students straight away according to their merit scores but Class 12 achievement marks establish their entry qualifications.

You can likely considered to get admission into Pune via MHTCET. AIT prioritizes children of serving or retired Army/Navy/Air Force personnel. You will need to provide a certificate to prove your grandfather's service. AIT admission is based on your All India Rank in the JEE Main exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
