NIMCET is more difficult as it is national-level exam. Its focus is on high-level Mathematics. On the other hand, MHT CET (for MCA) is state-level and emphasizes speed over complex conceptual depth.

For MH CET Law preparation, few books help a lot. Study Legal Aptitude for MHT CET Law by A.P. Bhardwaj for legal part. Use Lucent's General Knowledge for GK. For English, Wren and Martin Grammar Book works good. Practice reasoning from RS Aggarwal Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Solve old papers and mock tests regular.

Yes, many Engineering colleges in Mumbai accept JEE Main scores under the All India quota. JEE Main seats are limited in number compared to MHT CET seats. Maharashtra state candidates mostly use MHT CET scores, while candidates from other states can apply using JEE Main.

82 percentile in MHT CET LLB is decent but not very high. You might get admission in mid-level law colleges in Maharashtra. For top colleges like Government Law College Mumbai or ILS Law College Pune, cutoff usually goes above 90 percentile. Still, 82 percentile can secure good private or aided law college depending on category and seat availability.
