The latest syllabus for MHT CET 2025 covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, based mainly on the Maharashtra State Board curriculum for Class 11 and 12. Around eighty percent of questions come from Class 12 topics, with the remaining twenty percent from selected Class 11 topics. For example, in Physics, topics like Motion in a Plane, Laws of Motion, and Gravitation are included, while Chemistry focuses on atomic structure, chemical bonding, and hydrocarbons.

Below 94 percentile, top Mumbai–Pune elite CSE seats (SPIT, VJTI, COEP, PICT, VIT Pune, PCCOE) are tough. Look at AISSMS IOIT, JSPM RSCOE, DY Patil Akurdi (borderline), PCCOER, Sinhgad Group (autonomous campuses), VIIT (only if percentile edges up). Consider MIT WPU (autonomous, private), SIT Pune (Symbiosis), and NMIMS (Shirpur/Navi Mumbai) via their own processes. Strategy: prioritise institute brand + placement cell over pure CSE tag, and explore IT/AI&DS with stronger labs.

With this percentile/rank, top NITs/IIITs and most government Maharashtra colleges are unrealistic, but you still have meaningful options through SC category + institute level/management seats. Shortlist: Mumbai University–affiliated private colleges (e.g., Atharva, Vidyalankar, Shah & Anchor), Pune belt colleges (DY Patil Talegaon/AMB, PCCOER, JSPM group), Nagpur (KDK, Priyadarshini), Nashik/Aurangabad region institutes, and autonomous private universities that consider Class 12 + their own tests/counselling. Keep MHT CET counselling (CAP) Round 2/3, spot rounds, TFWS (if eligible), and diploma/B.Voc lateral ladders as safety nets.
