CET Cell conducted a special MHT CET registration from March 19 to 20, 2026. Earlier, the MHT CET 2026 registration concluded for both PCM and PCB groups on February 24. The MHT CET 2026 registration last date with a late fee of Rs 500 was February 27.

MHT CET Law exam has total 150 questions. All questions are multiple choice type. You get 120 minutes to finish the paper. The test includes five sections like Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, English, and Mathematics for 5-year course or Current Affairs for 3-year course.

Candidates having incorrect information in their MHT CET application form must utilise the form correction period to make the corrections. If the form is submitted with incorrect details, the form will be rejected.

Yes, other state candidates can apply for MHT CET, but the exam is being conducted exclusively in Maharashtra state. This means that outside state applicants have to travel to Maharashtra to give the exam. Moreover, the reservation benefits will not apply to outside state candidates. Candidates from outside Maharashtra will be considered for All India quota seats.

The CET Cell has announced the MHT CET 2026 registration fee. This year, the authorities are conducting the MHT CET exam for two sessions, thus the registration fee also changes. The general category candidates have to pay INR 1300 to apply for any one group out of PCM and PCB. The same for reserved category candidates is 1000. To apply for both groups, the general category candidates have to pay INR 2600, and the reserved category candidates have to pay INR 2000.

The MHT CET registration 2026 for PCM started on January 10. The last date for MHT CET registration 2026 was February 24, 2026. The registration with a Rs 500 late fee concluded on February 27.

No. The MHT CET 2026 application form has to be filled in online mode only. There is no provision to fill the MHT CET application form in offline mode.

Yes. The authorities have announced that the MHT CET 2026 registration will be held twice a year starting from this year onwards. Candidates have to apply for both sessions together.
