The second one is, take a drop & prepare with full focus for JEE again. If your financial condition is good then only choose this one.

Hello there,
You can get into this college,I.e. MNIT JAIPUR by giving the entrance exam of JEE MAINS which could be given after intermediate(10+2). The criteria for giving this examination JEE MAINS is that you need to get 60% marks in PCM, I.e. physics, chemistry, mathematics. Yes definitely, you can go in space technology line as a lot of concepts which are applied in space engineering are at their very base mechanical in nature and as the basic concepts of Mechanical engineering like solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer are taught in mechanical engineering course in B.Tech level so you could easily get into advance topics of space engineering. Moreover ISRO takes mechanical engineering graduates every year so there is immense scope for Mechanical engineers in space engineering.

It is quite difficult to obtain clear statistics that can tell the exact marks to get admission into MNIT. It matters on how you score in board exams as well. However, I am sharing a few previous stats:
139 marks in JEE Main and 97% in CBSE - Mechanical Engineering - OBC
120 marks in JEE Main and 85% in CBSE - Electrical Engineering - OBC
98 marks in JEE Main and 80% in Rajasthan Board - Metallurgical & Materials Engineering - OBC
I hope this helps. All the best.

Electrical Engineering branch is easily gettable for a person with decent marks in JEE. For admission to top NITs and other few central colleges via JEE Main, you should get 200+ marks and above 90% in CBSE board exams ko get EE branch for a general candidate. For reserved category, to get admitted into MNIT in EE branch, you must score 120+ marks and 85% and above.
