National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NIT-RKL)

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, Doctoral, Executive PhD and other courses to students. It has 20 departments under which these courses are offered. Moreover, BTech is the flagship course of NIT Rourkela. Some other popular courses offered by the university are MTech, M.A. and others.  Admission to the offered programmes at NIT Rourkela is either through entrance examinations (for example, JEE Mains/ GATE/ IIT JAM) or based on merit.
