As per the reviews on Shiksha, the institute is rated as 4 out of 5. As stated by Shiksha reviewer (Yuvraj saraswat- B.Tech. in Biotechnology Engineering - Batch of 2029) NIET is best if you are a disciplined and study-oriented student. In the college, about 70-80% of students got placements, and the highest placement in 2026 is 44 LPA, while the average is 5-6 LPA. Infrastructure is basic or it will above average but not bad. NIET Greater Noida offers multiple placement opportunities to the students. Most number of placements are secured by BTech & MBA students. BTech CSE branch is one of the most popular branch that recieves a number of placements from top recruiting comapnies. Talking about the overall placements, for the session 2026-2027, the highest package recorded was INR 44 LPA & the highest internship of INR 1.25 Lacs was recorded. Top recruiting companies visiting the campus was Microsoft, Accenture, TCS, LTIMindtree, Cognizant, etc.

Yes, it is worth doing BTech in CSE from NIET Noida. NIET is famous for its Engineering courses, BTech being the flagship course of the institute. B.Tech is offered at the UG level. CSE is the most opted speacialisation in BTech. For BTech courses admissions are based on the score of JEE Mains followed by UPTAC Counselling. For the session 2026-2027, the highest package recorded was INR 44 LPA & the highest internship of INR 1.25 Lacs was recorded. Top recruiting companies visiting the campus was Microsoft, Accenture, TCS, LTIMindtree, Cognizant, etc. Overall it is a good institute for BTech CSE.

NIET Greater Noida MBA candidates can opt for hostel facility. The accommodation fee is INR 2.03 lakh. This mentioned fee amount is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.

NIET Greater Noida has a seat capacity of 360 for the BTech in CSE course. Candidates are admitted as per the sanctioned intake and performance in accepted exam. The seat allocation is done during the counselling. This given seat intake is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.

NIET Noida BTech CSE syllabus includes theory and practical subjects. It includes a three weeks compulsory induction as well. During the summer break, an internship of 3-4 weeks has to be done. Some of the departmental electives are:

  • Natural Language Processing
  • Programming for Data Analytics
  • RPA Implementation, etc.

NIET Noida is ranked by NIRF in the "Engineering" category. It was the 11th best among NIRF-ranked colleges in Uttar Pradesh in 2025. The institute was ranked #101-150 in 2025 by NIRF.
