Hi Palanisamy,
Every university has different requirements. Can you mention your desired level, UG or PG?

Hi Anand, here is my article for studies and career options in Psychology, you may read through. For studying abroad you should visit university websites for specific entry requirements. To study in US you must clear the GRE and admissions would be competitive compared to New Zealand and Australia. Check the links below for more details

Hi Paras,
You hold a bachelor's degree and that is enough. Your grades however are not upto the mark. You should try for another stream, probably engineering is not the right fit for you. Studies abroad will be more rigorous. You may still check the list below:

Hi,
If you are looking for Bachelor's degree, an overall IELTS of 6 is recommended with no section less than 5.5. For PG courses, an overall score of 6.5 is required mostly with no part less than 6. This is a general overview of the requirements. The scholarships will depend on your profile. Mostly, financial aid is offered by the universities on merit basis.

It is difficult to say on the basis of your IELTS score only. You must concentrate on the application submission, submit it before deadline. You cannot apply for visa without receiving admission offer from the college. 5.5 is indeed low but you can retake or get into an ESL program, you can find this out by sending a mail to the college. But, first check the college specific admission requirements and apply.

Hi Avinash,
The process is usually online and you need to decide what to study, check the program specific admission requirements and prepare. International applicants must take IELTS or TOEFL. You must also submit your SOP, LOR, marksheets, etc and application fee too. Firstly, check the eligibility on university websites. A first class is recommended.

Every university has different requirements, universities in New Zealand are not as rigorous like in US, Canada or Germany. A first class degree and good IELTS scores are required.

Dear Palanisamy,
It depends on the course and its level. The minimum is overall 6 with no band less than 5.5 and for MBA etc., it is minimum 6.5 with no band less than 6. It can also vary from college to college.
I hope this answers your question, and if you want the exact answer then kindly let me know as to which course you are applying for.
