UPES School of Law Placements: The top recruiters for UPES School of Law include companies such as Eaton, Factum Legal, HCL, Pramata, Sterlite Power, and Jio. These companies have been actively involved in recruiting students from the law school. The highest package offered during the 2023 placements was INR 16.6 LPA.
The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNLU): The median package for the 2023 batch was INR 10 LPA, while the average package was INR 9.5 LPA. A one-year LL.M. Post Graduation Course in Business Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Law is available from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL). There will be sixty (60) seats available in total for the LL.M. course.

Students in the home state general category are eligible for a specialised rate at the university. For the home state general category students, nine seats will be allotted individually. Students in the SC/ST category will be given 18 seats. Six places are set aside for students belonging to the OBC category. Every year, the students are provided a generous CTC package during the placement drive. Placements for RGNUL Punjab 2023 are now complete. Eight recruiters made PPOs, and eight recruiters made offers to graduating students; the remaining eight recruiters were hired through campus recruitment. Out of the 31 students who were placed, 11 of them obtained PPOs as a result of their internships.

The CLAT entrance exam results are accepted by the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) for admission to its BA LLB (Hons) programme. India offers a nationwide entrance exam called CLAT for admission to undergraduate and graduate law programmes. The Consortium of National Law Universities is in charge of it.

The 12th examinations from the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) are also accepted by RGNUL for candidates from Punjab. Applicants must have received at least 45% (or 40% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates) in their qualifying exam. 

Based on their CLAT score, candidates who have received a legitimate score will be shortlisted. To further assess the candidates, RGNUL may conduct personal interviews (PIs) with those who have been shortlisted if there are more applicants than seats available.
