No, direct admission to the LLM programme at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala is not available. Admission to the LLM programme at RGNUL NLU Patiala is based exclusively on the merit of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Candidates must have passed the LL.B./B.L. Degree examination from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) to be eligible for admission to the LLM programme at RGNUL NLU Patiala.

As of now, CLAT Round 3 Seat Allotment results have been released for NLU Patiala cutoff 2025. The All India opening and closing ranks for NLU Patiala for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) is 1279 for the General category.
For the LL.M course, the All India opening and closing ranks for NLU Patiala is 1310 for the General category All India candidates.

CNLU releases the round-wise CLAT cutoff for admission to NLU Patiala to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. in Criminal Law courses. As per the CLAT 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment result, the All India opening and closing ranks for B.A. LL.B. (Hons) are 502 and 1129. For LL.M. in Criminal Law, the opening and closing ranks are 90 and 774 for the General category candidates.

A one-year LL.M. Post Graduation Course in Business Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Law is available from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL). There will be sixty (60) seats available in total for the LL.M. course.

The placements at The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law are pretty good and the average salary package offered was 8.4 LPA. The university is considered to be one of the top universities for law.
Every year, the students are provided a generous CTC package during the placement drive. Placements for RGNUL Punjab 2023 are now complete. Eight recruiters made PPOs, and eight recruiters made offers to graduating students; the remaining eight recruiters were hired through campus recruitment. The CLAT entrance exam results are accepted by the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) for admission to its BA LLB (Hons) programme. India offers a nationwide entrance exam called CLAT for admission to undergraduate and graduate law programmes. The Consortium of National Law Universities is in charge of it.

The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law would charge about Rs. 2.5 Lacs a year for the BA LLB (Hons) programme. The annual cost of an LLM will be approximately 2.1 lakhs. The annual cost of a Ph.D. will be approximately 2.2 lakhs. Students will also be assessed a range of fees by the university. The entrance cost to the university is Rs. 10,000, and it is not refundable. Additionally, the university charges an annual facilities fee of Rs. 23,000. Yes, with a 76 percentile in your 12th class, you have a chance of being admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), BA LLB (Hons). Your chances, however, will be based on how well you do on the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) as well as how competitive the year is overall.

The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) has the following qualifying requirements for the BA LLB (Hons) programme:
The qualifying test (10+2 or equivalent) must have been passed by the candidate with a minimum of 45% overall (80% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Applicants may also apply if they took the qualifying exam in March or April of 2024 or if they are still expecting their results.
