North Carolina State University is situated on the west of downtown Raleigh on 2,099 acres. The campus acreage includes the area of Centennial Campus on 1,105 acres and Centennial Biomedical Campus on 215 acres. West Campus includes the College of Veterinary Medicine and stadium / arena complex. The main campus of NCSU includes three-sub campuses: North Campus, Central Campus, and South Campus.

The Centennial Campus is a nationally acclaimed public-private research campus where 70+ corporate, government, and network partners work alongside 70+ research and academic units. It is also home to College of Engineering, the Wilson College of Textiles, the N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative and the Institute for Emerging Issues.

Around $517 million in new sponsored research awards for the fiscal year 2024 have been invested – the highest in the history of the university. Also note that NCSU is a lead university for two National Science Foundation Engineering Research Centers:

The most popular courses at NC State University are Master of Engineering Management and MSc in CS among Indian students. MSc in CS course is a research oriented course. Also, international students enrolled in the Computer Science course can take internships after meeting all the eligibility requirements. To take admission to this course, the applicants must have completed an UG degree. GRE test score is also required. In 2024, NC State ranked at #50 for its Computer Science course.
