The average GPA for NCS Uni is 3.79 on a scale of 4 for UG students. For Fall 2025, the undergrads had an unweighted GPA of 3.8 on a scale of 4, while the average for transfer students was 3.51.

Yes, there is one Indian student association at North Carolina State University at Raleigh. MAITRI is the official Indian Graduate Student Association of the university. Its goal is to provide a sense of community to the Indian graduate students who come to this university, and share the university's culture and traditions with everyone else interested in knowing a bit of India. It hosts events throughout the year such as Diwali and Holi. It also conducts casual events frequently such as welcome parties for incoming students, board game nights, meet 'n' greets, mehfil nights, and more.
