OJEE Counselling

The Odisha Cell will conduct the OJEE counselling for JEE Main rank holders and OJEE-qualified aspirants. The OJEE counselling dates will be available on the official website of Odisha JEE. Interested candidates will be required to complete the OJEE counselling registration process within the deadline. Based on JEE Mains rank you can always get any college in any state of your choice. However, giving the state joint entrance examination gives you a higher percentage of chances of seats in the colleges of your state. Candidates belonging to the state of Odisha will be eligible to take admission to the government colleges in the state, and non-native students are eligible to take admission to private colleges and institutes. The following government colleges of Odisha are accepting the JEE Mains scores.

It depends on your priorities and the colleges you have applied for. If you have applied for engineering courses and have got a seat through JoSAA counseling, then you may prefer to take that seat over the one you got through OJEE counseling. However, if you have applied for other courses like management or pharmacy and have secured a seat through OJEE counseling, then you may prefer to take that seat. You will be pleased to know that there are some government colleges that provide quality education even at low cost. FMS Delhi will be the best for you its fees is very less. Total fees is around 20-22 thousand annually. Comparing other government colleges like Iims, their fees is very high reaching upto 22 Lacs for IIM Ahmedabad. This is the scenario in MBA. Even government colleges charge high fees. You can even opt for Delhi School of Economics (DSE). Its fees is 31-35 thousand annually. Also UCMS is one of the colleges that charges low fees around 60k annually for MBA programme. Hope it helps.
