Should you decide to quit OUAT Bhubaneswar after 1 year to join one of the government medical colleges, then you would most probably face a discontinuation bond penalty. In MBBS courses in Odisha this penalty is typically a fine amounting to half a Lacs of rupees. Moreover, you may not have back some fees paid, with exception of caution money. These are specifically provided under the bond that one signs during the time of admission and is aimed to persuade the student against leaving the seat vacant midway through the course.

The compulsory subjects for UG courses in the OUAT 2024 entrance exam are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. Candidates can choose either Mathematics or Biology, but they must have passed both subjects in their 12th class examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates).

Please note that this information is tentative as the examination conducting body has not released any official information regarding to this. However, the above mentioned details are as per the previous year trends.
