Yes, if students have a valid study permit and are studying for a full-time Degree, Diploma, or any Certificate program, they can work off-campus starting the first day of the semester. Eligible students can work a maximum of 20 hours per week during regular academic studies and full-time during scheduled breaks, however, as per the latest update, international students can work up to 24 hours on a Canadian student visa as of late 2024.

The available data indicates that Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering (LTCE) does not provide traditional part-time B.E. in Mechanical Engineering for students who finished their diploma and work full-time jobs because most Indian universities exclude part-time B.Tech programs. At the same time some institutions might adapt their schedule for diploma holders to study B.Tech.

International students are not required to pay any taxes if they are earning a monthly amount of upto €450. But above this amount, they will have to pay taxes. You will receive a mail, on your provided email ID, with the text number once you've obtained your residence permit and have got your living location registered with the city. Students who are earning more than the aforementioned amount should make sure they file a tax return in order to obtain the refund for which they are eligible.
