People's University

People's University is believed to be one of the premier private universities in Bhopal, India. It has been ranked #=238 in the Asian University Rankings - Southern Asia, 2024, and has built a reputation as a prestigious institution. The university dominates Central India with a vast area of 69.19 acres in Bhopal. The present strength of the university is 4367 students and around 445 faculty staff members. It offers many undergraduate and postgraduate courses: MBBS, MD, BDS, MDS, BSc, MSc, BPharm, BTech, MTech, BBA, and MBA. The placement cell, well developed, has seen its students go out in reputed companies such as Infosys, Dell, and Barbeque Nation. 

People's University allows entrance exam score choices for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programme admission. The two pre-approved entrance exams for postgraduate study are the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) and the All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGDEE). The university accepts USPNEE scores exceeding 300 points from 1200 possible and USIPGDEE scores surpassing 400 points from 600 offerings. Entry to the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programme at the university accepts exam scores obtained from the Dental Council of India through their entrance assessment. About 20 to 25 seats make up the MDS programme at this institution and students take 3 years to complete it. Students need to pay INR 8-10 Lacs per year to study in this program.

To qualify for admission to People's University BA LLB programs students need to reach at least 45% in their 10+2 or equivalent examinations but should maintain a 40% minimum for candidates from SC/ST or OBC groups. Prospective students who took the qualifying examinations or still await their results both qualify to submit an application. As a requirement candidates must show success in either the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). The entrance course offered by People's University takes the form of their independent test known as the People's University Law Entrance Test (PULET). A total of 120 students obtain admission through this programme which spans five years of study. Students need to pay INR 80,000-1 Lacs per annum to enroll in the program.
