Having a degree in Forestry can offer various benefits, but it also comes with its own set of drawbacks. Some advantages of pursuing these courses include a variety of job opportunities, environmental contribution, outdoor activities, and diverse skills.
On the other hand, disadvantages include physical work, environmental hazards, limited career advancement, etc.

The following are the common entrance exams accepted by BSc Forestry Colleges in Tamil Nadu:

  • ICAR AIEEA: All India Entrance Examination for Admisison is a national-level entrance exam conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for admission to UG, PG and PhD courses in Agricultural Universities.
  • OUAT: Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology is a state-level entrance examination for admission to UG and PG level colleges in MSc,8  Horticulture, MSc, Science and Animal Husbandry, UPCATET Engineering and Technology,  Fishery Science,  UPCATET0 Science and MSc,8 etc.
