You need to clear the Ph.D. entrance exam conducted by the University under which you desire to do your Ph.D. I suggest that you should have a look at the website and download the brochure for reading at leisure and understanding nuances. If you want to join Ph.D. in research institutes of India, you have to clear entrance exam CSIR NET or GATE)
And, you have to go through a Personal Interview session.

If you prepare for teaching is mandatory to do B. Ed but are going through Ph.D. you must complete a master's degree first.
