However, students must prove themselves by performing exceptionally in academics and fulfilling the eligibility and requirements expected by the university. The university follows certain academic and non-academic factors while selecting the candidates for admission. International applicants must have a bachelor's relevant degree from a recognised university for master's and they must hold secondary school certificates or proof of completion for the bachelor's curriculum.

Queensland University of Technology expects a minimum cumulative GPA of 4 or above on a 7-point scale from master's applicants. The GPA requirements for MBA applicants are slightly up with min score of 4.5 on a 7-point scale. Along with the academic GPA, students must fulfill the basic eligibility by holding a recognised bachelor's degree in any discipline and submitting the necessary documents including GMAT score, work experience, and Program-specific requirements.

International students coming from diverse countries whose first language is not English must submit a minimum IELTS score of 6 and 6.5 for UG and PG admission.
