Students can find part-time or casual work via QUT’s UniHub and speak with trained students available for chats about university challenges and career opportunities.

QUT does not require SAT scores for Indian students. The admission requirements for Indian students at QUT include:
- Minimum GPA of 4.0 on 7-point scale
- IELTS score of 6.
- Minimum GMAT score of 550 (for MBA) 
- Additionally, students can take up academic and English language pathway programs if they don't meet the entry requirements mentioned above

The acceptance rate at QUT is 40%, and it rises every academic year as more students register in its various disciplines. Students who fulfil the university's basic standards often get an offer of admission. Admission to QUT award courses is based on quality and the likelihood that students will succeed academically, with special consideration given to underrepresented community groups.
