If a candidates is unable to secure any financial assistance through scholarships for BSc fees at Calcutta University, student loans are their only option. BSc students should compare every bank available based on interest rates before applying for a student loan.

Yes, as far as I know, GIBS Bangalore does offer scholarships based on entrance exam scores like MAT, along with other eligibility criteria.
When I was exploring admissions, one thing I liked was that students with good scores and profiles could be considered for scholarship benefits, which helps reduce the overall fee burden.
Generally, scholarships may depend on:
- MAT score
- CAT, XAT, or CMAT scores
- Academic performance
- Overall student profile
My suggestion:
- Apply early
- Check the latest scholarship criteria with the admissions team
- Keep your entrance exam scorecards and academic documents ready
