Eligibility
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree (10+2+3 pattern) from an approved university in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management or Social Science with at least 55% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the Honours subject or in aggregate as applicable, with Mathematics as a subject at the undergraduate level; or in Engineering or Technology with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate are eligible to apply.
Jadavpur University MCA Admission 2018
Jadavpur University offers MCA program through its Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The application process for the program is online and begins in the month of May.
The admission to the program is based on the WB JECA Entrance Exam. The exam is conducted in Computer Based Test mode. It consists of two papers. The first two hours are for Paper 1 based on Mathematics and the third hour is for Paper 2 having Aptitude based questions. Based on the performance in this test, candidates will be selected for admission. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the website.

The admission to the programme is based on performance in the Entrance Examination and/or the academic record of the student in graduation. Some of the Entrance Exams for M.Sc. In Physics is as follows:
CUCET: Central Universities Common Entrance Test is an exam by eight central universities in India. The application forms are available online from April and the exam is conducted in the month of May. DUET Delhi University Entrance exam for Physics is conducted in the month of June. The application forms are available in the month of April. NITTET: National Institute of Technology conducts an entrance exam in the month of June. The application forms are available in the month of April and the exam is held in May. Selection to the M.Sc. In Physics programme is based on both Entrance Exam (85%) and the academic record of the student (15%) in graduation. Colleges like Sikkim Manipal University which do not take Entrance Exam bases its selection process on the merit marks obtained in qualifying examination. Regards.
